Production Process

The ceramic powdering process can be roughly divided into two types: wet method and dry method. Currently, the wet method is commonly used.

Wet Production Line

The ball mill wet mill + dryer mainly transports the ceramic raw materials to the ball mill, then adds 30-40% water to grind into a slurry, and then uses a drying tower to dry the powder with a moisture content of 7%. The drying time is longer. Long, slow drying, low yield.

Dry Production Line

Vertical mill (or T mill) + granulator, mainly to directly grind the ceramic raw materials with a mill, then use a dry granulator for humidification and granulation, and then dry with a fluidized bed to control the moisture content of the powder At 7%, enter the compression molding process. The drying time is short, the drying is fast, and the output is high.

Compared with wet production, dry heat production saves more than 80% of energy consumption, electricity consumption by more than 35%, emissions by more than 80%, and also saves additives such as water reducer and ball stone. In addition, the wet method is gradually eliminated due to environmental pressure. The production line designed by Shibang Industrial for customers uses a dry production process.

Dry pulverizing technology replaces the two largest energy consumption links in wet pulverization, "ball milling slurry" and "spray granulation".
